A new concept in tapestry needles, the Pony Wool Needle looks
like the smaller cousin of a circular knitting needle. Instead of a
traditional eye, the Pony needle has a loop of nylon similar to the
nylon cord found on a circular needle. The aluminum shank and tip of
the needle resemble those of a knitting needle. The nylon eye is easy
to thread, and the loop's flexibility allows it to squeeze tightly over
even bulky yarn as it goes through the fabric.
Pony Wool Needles (about $2.50/pk) are packaged in a set of three sizes
ranging from 2% inches to 3% inches. They are made in India and are
available in yarn shops and by mail order. Distributed by Muench Yarns
