The British designer continues her winning streak of simple-yet-savvy
children’s knits with a lovely collection featuring her signature
colors and delicately crafted patterns Special Knits: 22 Gorgeous Handknits For Babies and Toddlers .
This time around she incorporates a wider variety of detailing,
including embroidery and beads, all of which give richness to the
garments without upstaging their beauty or silhouettes.
Like many of Bliss’s other designs, these clothes can be dressed up for
special events or worn casually on relaxed days, and despite their
modernity and style, they never look too mature for a child to wear.
It’s hard to choose the best, but we’ll try: Take a look at the
charming bow-tied bolero; keep it cozy in the hippie-ish hooded caftan;
and the argyle cardigan or pullover on your favorite preppy. As always,
Bliss’s patterns are clear, concise and totally approachable. |
