One Size Fits All.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust (buttoned) - 50"
Length - 36"
MATERIALS
BERROCO DÉJÀ VU (50 grs), 18 balls #9630 Jungle Brown (A).
BERROCO MOHAIR CLASSIC HEATHER (43 grs), 12 balls #A6809 (B).
Straight knitting needles size 15 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 7.00mm (K).
2 buttons Style #180-65 from One World Button Supply.
GAUGE
13 sts = 6"; 18 rows = 6" in St st using 1 strand each A & B held tog and size 15 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
NOTE
To avoid unwanted patterning when working with Deja Vu, we recommend
using two balls alternately, working two rows with each ball.
BACK
With 1 strand each A & B held tog, loosely cast on 54 sts. Work in St st for 36". Bind off.
LEFT FRONT
With 1 strand each A & B held tog, loosely cast on 48 sts. Work in St st for 23", end on RS.
Neck shaping: Note: When binding off sts at beg of rows for neck shaping, always slip the first st to be bound off for a neater edge.
Next row (WS):
Bind off 5 sts (neck edge), p to end. Continue to bind off 4 sts from
neck edge every other row 3 times, then dec 1 st every other row 10
times, dec 1 st every 4th row twice - 19 sts. Work even until piece
measures 36" from beg. Bind off.
RIGHT FRONT
Work as for left front to neck shaping, end on WS. Then, work neck
shaping as for left front, only beg on a RS row to reverse shaping.
SLEEVES
With 1 strand each A & B held tog, loosely cast on 30 sts. Work in St st inc
1 st each side every 8th row 5 times - 40 sts. Work even until piece measures 16" from beg. Bind off.
FINISHING
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams. Place markers at
9-1/4" down from shoulders. Sew sleeves to armholes between markers.
Sew side and sleeve seams. With crochet hook and 1 strand each A &
B held tog, work an edge of sc around sleeve cuff edges. Work sc in
same way around lower, front and neck edges working 3 sc in each
corner. Make two ch-11 loops and attach firmly to center left and right
front edges just at beg of neck shaping. Sew one button at left outside
seam edge to match loop and one at inside right seam edge at underarm
for asymetrical closing
